Kylian Mbappé has reportedly asked Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez to limit the involvement of the club’s medical staff in his recovery from a knee injury, instead choosing to work with Atlas Lions doctor Christophe Baudot.
The France international is following a personalized rehabilitation program for a knee injury under Baudot’s supervision. The two developed a professional relationship during Mbappé’s time at Paris Saint-Germain, where Baudot previously worked before joining the Morocco national football team.
The situation follows controversy earlier this season, when Spanish media reported that Madrid’s medical staff had examined Mbappé’s right knee despite discomfort in his left, an error allegedly discovered weeks later.
Mbappé has publicly denied those claims while on international duty with the France national football team, acknowledging that limited communication may have fueled speculation.
