Morocco’s National Authority of Adouls has announced a new nationwide strike from March 18 to April 5, 2026, escalating its protest against draft law No. 16.22 on the organization of the profession.
In a statement issued Wednesday, the authority’s executive bureau said all services linked to adoul acts would be suspended across the country during the strike period.
The action follows two earlier stoppages. Adouls first observed a warning strike on Feb. 18 and 19, then staged an eight day work stoppage from March 2 to March 10, which the body said drew strong participation nationwide.
At the center of the dispute is the draft law, which the authority rejects in its current form. It says the text was examined without taking into account proposals submitted by the profession and is calling for the bill to be frozen and for talks to open with the government.
The group also plans a protest outside parliament on April 2.
