The association “We Are For You” has denied recent reports on social media and some online outlets claiming that authorities had blocked a lecture by preacher Dr. Yassine el Omari, scheduled for Saturday at the city’s cultural center.
In a statement, the group described the claims as “baseless rumors” and confirmed that it had not received any official notification, written or verbal, from local authorities indicating a refusal.
“All organizational procedures were carried out within the legal framework,” the statement said, adding that the lecture has received positive reception from various community groups.
The association emphasized that the event remains scheduled as planned and will be open to children, men, and women in a respectful and responsible environment.
“We urge the public to verify information from official sources,” the statement concluded, reaffirming that the lecture will proceed as announced in Fnidq.
