Classes at the Multidisciplinary Faculty in Larache and its annex in Ksar El Kebir will be suspended next week due to severe flooding affecting the region, the institution announced.
In a statement, the faculty said courses will be halted from Monday, Feb. 2 through Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026.
The decision was taken in light of the critical situation affecting Ksar El Kebir and surrounding areas following exceptional flooding, as well as weather alerts issued by Morocco’s General Directorate of Meteorology forecasting continued adverse conditions during the coming week.
The suspension aims to ensure the safety of students, faculty members and administrative staff, the statement added.
The institution said classes are scheduled to resume normally on Monday, Feb. 9, unless further updates are issued depending on weather developments and local conditions.
