Morocco’s national football team cruised to a 4–0 victory over Uganda on Tuesday in a friendly match at the Grand Stadium of Tangier, extending their strong run during the November international break.
The Atlas Lions controlled the game from the opening minutes, rotating their play style and dictating the tempo throughout the first half, which ended with a two-goal lead.
Morocco opened the scoring in the 4th minute when Naouil Ainaoui’s strike deflected off Ugandan defender Ashai Herbert and found the back of the net. Ismael Saibari doubled the advantage in the 33rd minute after a well-timed assist from Noussair Mazraoui that left him in a comfortable position to finish.
The second half followed the same pattern, with Walid Regragui’s squad maintaining full control and creating several clear scoring opportunities.
In the 79th minute, Soufiane Rahimi converted a penalty to make it 3–0. Bilal El Khannous added a fourth goal in the 88th minute, sealing Morocco’s dominant performance.
The win comes days after Morocco defeated Mozambique 1–0 on Friday, also in Tangier, with Azzedine Ounahi scoring the lone goal of that match.
