Transavia France will maintain year-round direct flights linking Rennes to Marrakech and extend its Brest–Marrakech route through summer 2026, the low-cost carrier said. The airline reinstated the Rennes service at the end of October and will operate two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays.
The Brest route, launched last year, will also run twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Transavia said demand for Marrakech continues to rise, driven by travellers seeking sunshine destinations for holidays, weekend trips and business travel.
Alongside strengthening its Marrakech schedule, the carrier is expanding from Rennes with two seasonal routes to Agadir via Ajaccio. Transavia said the broader effort aims to support mobility needs of passengers and businesses while reinforcing air connectivity as a driver of economic activity.
A subsidiary of Air France–KLM, Transavia operates around 200 routes from key French airports including Orly, Lyon, Nantes and Montpellier across Europe and the Mediterranean. The airline carried nearly 14 million passengers in 2024, making it the leading low-cost operator from Paris.
