The moroccan dirham depreciated by 0.4% against the euro and by 0.5% against the US dollar during the period from September 25 to October 1, 2025, according to Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM).
During this period, no auction operations were carried out on the foreign exchange market, BAM noted in its weekly bulletin of economic indicators.
As for official reserve assets, they stood at 417.3 billion dirhams (MMDH) as of September 26, up 0.4% from the previous week and 13.5% year-on-year.
Regarding Central Bank interventions, their average daily volume amounted to 133.4 MMDH, distributed among 7-day advances (54.9 MMDH), longer-term repurchase agreements (43.5 MMDH), secured loans (33.4 MMDH), and 24-hour advances (1.7 MMDH).
