Morocco’s weather service forecast thunderstorms on Tuesday across the Oriental region, Middle Atlas, Saïss, eastern Mediterranean coast, Rif and southern provinces.
Scattered showers are also expected in the Gharb, High Atlas and southeast, with local sand-laden winds in the southern and southeastern areas. Strong gusts are predicted along the central coasts, Tangier, and mountain ranges.
Night and morning fog will form in the northwest of the southern provinces. Minimum temperatures will range between 21–26°C in the southeast and southern regions, and 16–21°C elsewhere. Daytime highs will drop.
Seas will be rough to very rough off most Atlantic shores.
