Nasser Zefzafi, the imprisoned leader of the Hirak protest movement, has been granted special permission to temporarily leave prison to attend his father’s funeral, a source told Hespress.
The General Delegation for Prison Administration approved the exceptional request, allowing Zefzafi to join family members in mourning.
His father, Ahmed Zefzafi, passed away Wednesday after a long battle with illness. The funeral is scheduled for Thursday afternoon in Ajdir, near Al Hoceima, the family’s hometown.
