Saudi club Al Hilal has announced the loan signing of Moroccan international Abderrazak Hamdallah from Al Shabab team. Hamdallah will immediately join Al Hilal’s squad for their ongoing participation in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
The signing comes as Al Hilal aims to compensate for a shortage in its attacking line. Key players like Serbian Aleksandar Mitrovic have been sidelined since the start of the tournament due to injury.
Additionally, team captain Salem Al-Dawsari suffered an injury that kept him out of their last match against Manchester City and will prevent him from playing in Al Hilal’s remaining Club World Cup games.
Hamdallah joined Al Hilal’s training camp in Orlando this Wednesday afternoon (local time) and is set to participate in training sessions starting from today’s afternoon practice.
Al Hilal is determined to advance further in the tournament. The club claims to have presented a “historic football epic” in the Round of 16 by defeating English giant Manchester City, a team filled with international stars and led by coach Pep Guardiola.
