Imane Belmaati, Director General of the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC), has firmly denied reports claiming her dismissal from the position she has held since April 25, 2024.
In a clarification shared with Hespress as part of her right of reply, Belmaati emphasized that she remains in office and that appointments and dismissals from high-ranking positions are governed by Decree No. 2.12.412, specifically Article 11, which outlines clear legal procedures requiring justification and a proposal to the Head of Government.
She highlighted her unwavering commitment and professionalism over the past 14 months, noting that ANAPEC’s performance has been commended by the board. In 2024, no remarks or warnings were issued regarding the agency’s management, with all operational indicators showing positive growth and financial auditors lifting all reservations.
Belmaati affirmed her ongoing work on a new strategic roadmap aligned with King Mohammed VI’s vision and Morocco’s development model, concluding that no dismissal notice has been received.
