Moroccan-American rapper French Montana took the stage June 14, at Florida’s Hard Rock Stadium during the opening ceremony of the 21st FIFA Club World Cup, which runs through July 13.
Known for celebrating his heritage, French Montana once again paid tribute to Morocco, this time by donning a custom jersey featuring traditional zellige patterns and a full map of the Kingdom. The backstage footage, captured as Al Ahly faced Inter Miami, showed him swapping his stage outfit for the striking Morocco-inspired piece before posing alongside FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
The rapper, who has launched a luxury fashion line dedicated to Moroccan culture, has previously created standout items including a red-and-green leather jacket with Vanson Leathers and a custom Rolex Daytona in Morocco’s colors, designed with Skeleton Concepts.
