The Tunisian Football Federation has announced the cancellation of a friendly match that was scheduled to take place between the Tunisian national team and the Central African Republic.
In an official statement, the Federation explained that the match—originally set for Monday in Casablanca, Morocco—was called off due to a player strike within the Central African Republic team.
Last week, the Tunisian national team played two friendlies as part of their preparations for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup African qualifiers. They won the first match 2–0 against Burkina Faso in Tunis, but lost the second match by the same scoreline (0–2) against Morocco in the city of Fes.
These games are part of Tunisia’s preparation for continuing their qualification campaign for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
