Morocco’s Justice Committee has approved key amendments to Bill 03.23 on criminal procedure, introducing the risk of enforced disappearance as a legal ground to reject extradition requests.

The approved amendments, affecting Articles 718 and 721, were submitted by majority and opposition MPs.

The committee agreed to merge similar proposals into a unified version still under refinement.
