Kazakhstan has resumed wheat exports to Morocco for the first time since 2008, according to Kazakhstan media.
The Central Asian country, which had previously shipped 10,000 tons in 2006, 11,000 tons in 2007, and 40,000 tons in 2008, restarted deliveries in 2025, with 83,532 tons already exported.
In addition to Morocco, Kazakhstan plans to boost shipments to Afghanistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia via regional ports, while also eyeing new opportunities in Southeast Asia, as part of a broader agricultural export strategy.
