Arsenal has reportedly begun negotiations with Leicester City to sign Moroccan international Bilal El Khannouss during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to the website “caughtoffside”.

The report claims El Khannouss has strongly impressed with “the Foxes” this season, leading Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta to endorse the move. Arsenal is said to have made an attractive offer of up to €30 million for the player.

The same source states that El Khannouss is open to leaving Leicester City, especially after the club was relegated from the Premier League this season. The Moroccan international reportedly sees Arsenal as a potentially significant step for his career.

Negotiations between the two clubs are reportedly underway, with viewpoints said to be aligning. Leicester appears prepared to let El Khannouss go for the proposed amount.

El Khannouss participated in 34 matches for Leicester City across all competitions this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists. His contract with “the Foxes” runs until the summer of 2028.
