The President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa called on the Moroccan U-17 national team on Friday to face the Africa Cup of Nations final against Mali with determination and combativeness.
During a visit to the national team on the eve of the U-17 AFCON final, the FRMF president urged them “to trust themselves” as Moroccan supporters would spare no effort to cheer them on during this “historic” moment.
According to an FRMF press release, Lekjaa expressed his “unconditional” support for the national team players, who “have all the necessary qualities to win this final.”
This visit is part of the ongoing support provided to all national football teams, across all categories, the source added.
The U-17 AFCON final between Morocco and Mali will take place on Saturday at the El Bachir Stadium in Mohammedia (3:00 PM).
