American superstars Will Smith and Kid Cudi are set to take part in the 20th edition of Mawazine – Rhythms of the World, scheduled from June 20 to 28 in Rabat and Salé, as announced event organizers.

Acclaimed actor and singer Kid Cudi, hailed as “the voice of a generation, the soul of a dreamer,” will deliver a one-of-a-kind performance on June 23 at the OLM-Souissi stage, according to the festival’s official Facebook and Instagram pages.

Meanwhile, Will Smith, a four-time Grammy Award winner, promises a legendary show on June 25 at OLM-Souissi as part of the festival, which is held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

According to Maroc Cultures Association, the festival’s organizer, Mawazine remains an unmissable cultural event, continuing its tradition of offering free access to 90% of festivalgoers while promoting values of peace, openness, tolerance, and respect.

“This new edition, one of the world’s largest cultural events, promises a high-caliber lineup full of surprises for all music and culture enthusiasts. It will feature some of the biggest global and Arab stars, renowned and emerging Moroccan artists, and iconic figures representing the world’s most cherished musical heritages,” the association stated.

The 19th edition of Mawazine drew over 2.5 million spectators across nine days of music celebrations on various stages in Rabat and Salé.

Established in 2001, Mawazine – Rhythms of the World has become a must-attend event for music lovers in Morocco. With an audience exceeding 2 million festivalgoers in recent editions, it is now considered the second-largest cultural festival in the world.
