The Moroccan team that participated in the Kings League tournament in Milan, Italy, this past January will receive a total of €54,000 in prize money, Hesport has learned.
According to a source, each player on the team will receive €750 for their participation in the five matches played, averaging out to €150 per game.
Reaching the semi-final stage guaranteed the team a bonus of €25,000.
The organizers have allocated €12,500 for the team president, Ilyas El Maliki, bringing the total prize money awarded to the Moroccan Kings League team to €54,000.
The source also clarified that the tournament organizers covered all travel and accommodation expenses for the team, as stipulated in the tournament regulations.
