The four Moroccan drivers who went missing between Burkina Faso and Niger last Saturday have been located and are on their way to the Moroccan embassy in Niger, according to information obtained by Hespress.
Sources revealed that the efforts made by Moroccan diplomacy, along with professionals in the transportation sector, led to the discovery of the drivers, who were found alongside a Burkinabe driver and another from Togo.
The drivers are reported to be in good health, though their trucks have not yet been recovered.
Negotiations are currently underway between the African Union representative for transport and the terrorist groups holding the trucks to secure their release.
