Fenerbahçe coach Jose Mourinho has praised Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri, saying that his presence in the team is a great addition that has contributed to improving the overall performance of the group.
“The Special One” said, in media statements following En-Nesyri’s double against Hatay Spor: “We worked hard to improve performance and add new ideas, such as relying on the duo of Dzeko and Youssef En-Nesyri.”
He added: “Having Youssef with us now has made a big difference, we couldn’t try this approach at the beginning of the season, because he wasn’t with us, but now he is a great addition to the team.”
En-Nesyri scored the winning goals for Fenerbahçe in the 16th and 45+3 minutes to take his tally to 11 goals this season, with eight in the Turkish league and three in the UEFA Cup.
This comes at a critical time for Fenerbahçe’s management, which finds itself facing a major challenge in resisting the tempting offer from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr for the services of Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri during the winter transfer window.
